Dental Implant

What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are man made tooth roots permanently anchored to the upper and lower jaw bones. They are the ideal replacement solution for missing or failing teeth due to their strength, natural appearance, longevity, and feel. Dental implants provide a strong base for replacement teeth, which means there is no movement or slip-outs like that experienced by traditional dentures. They are the absolute best solution to achieve a comfortable, natural smile.

Dental Implant Structure

  1. The implant: An implant is a screw-like post that creates a strong foundation for your new tooth. The implant is permanently attached to the bone.
  2. The abutment: The abutment connects your new tooth to the titanium implant.
  3. The crown: This is the new replacement tooth that is visible when you talk and smile. Our Doctors and lab use expert craftsmanship to make these from porcelain or zirconia. Your crown will be completely custom made to you, to match your natural teeth in size, color, and shape.

We use the very best implants made of medical-grade titanium. This strong metal combines with your existing jaw bone (i.e. osseointegration) to allow the implant to last a lifetime!

Dental implants allow our patients the to eat whatever they would like, talk to people with confidence, and to smile proudly at the world. New teeth, new life.

Types of Dental Implant Procedures

All-On-Four Dental Implants

This is truly a revolutionary procedure used to replace full upper AND or lower teeth. Our experienced and skillset will place four titanium implants in the upper and/or lower jaw bone and attach a full arch of teeth that look and feel completely natural.

Four implants. One arch. A dazzling new smile.

Get your confidence back.

Multiple Teeth Implants

If a patient is missing multiple adjacent teeth, but has healthy teeth and gums, multiple teeth implants may be a suitable treatment option. A bridge with multiple crowns is mounted to two to three implants in the jaw bone while the healthy surrounding teeth remain.

In certain cases, All-on-4 dental implants may be a better treatment option for the patient and possibly more cost-efficient. All treatment is custom tailored to YOU; we will work together to determine the best type of treatment for you.

Single Tooth Implants

If our patient is missing one tooth due to an accident or periodontal disease, a single tooth implant is a fantastic option. With a single tooth implant, the custom crown (artificial tooth) is supported with a single strong dental implant. Your new tooth will be designed to beautifully match the appearance of your natural teeth.
